Comic Book Illustration

A lifelong goal of mine has been to illustrate and publish a comic book. In 2020 I was able to achieve that goal. My process included a mix of traditional and digital media - starting with illustrating all pages on 11” x 17” bristol board before digitally inking and coloring in Photoshop. This comic was created with the standard 48 color palette that was available during the Golden Age of comics.

Two versions were created - a physical print version, and a digital version. The digital version is designed to simulate the look and “feel” of a well-worn copy straight from the 1940s.
